NEWKID 27,159
Yeah it's no surprise, fergies made it clear for a long while who he wanted to take over... UTD don't need a superstar manager, the foundations are there, Moyes may not have won anything but he's no mug, Everton have offered him very little in terms of money or backing and he's still managed to do a very good job... Plus Fergie ain't going far, what a position for a man like Moyes to walk into some of the best players in the world in the pitch and arguably the best manager ever at the top of the stairs to lean on and gain advice ( would Morhinos ego of allowed him to ask Fergie for a bit of advice at times??).. Watching UTD v Everton in that 4-4 draw last year and fellaini was unplayable plus Baines will be on the radar... I hope Everton find a replacement quickly but I think whoever follows Moyes has a far tougher job than Moyes has... wo wo sweet child of mine moyes had money he spent it in the main wisely dont think everton are some sort of charity case. They owe a lot less than many. Just aint had a fat walleted yank or russian olllgarth paying the way. Dont get to up yah own arses. Take a little look back in utd history they have vistited the lower divions a lot more than The little club up the 62. Haha " sweet child of mine", I like that mate... Not up my own arse mate, I'm a UTD fan whose pleased with the appointment ( I never thought Morhino would fit personally, but I guess time will tell).. I just think Moyes handled the money and the parameters within which he had to work in very well, to finish as high in the league as regularly as he did is a big achievement in my book... I don't know the full in and outs about your chairmen like you do, but obviously your not too keen lol, which is another reason to wonder how someone new will react... Moyes seemed to be moving in the right direction, putting Everton back up competing and building in my book a very good side... Like you say unfortunately money talks so to compete right up the top is difficult.. Charity case?? Not sure what you mean... As a UTD fan since 7 (84 lol) my early years of footballing memory is filled with Livepool being the ones, once Fergie got in and shook the sleeping giant back to life UTD fans have been spoiled with success, I hope the fans give Moyes the time he needs, he doesn't need to reinvent the wheel at UTD, but a few players are required to move forward again so let's see what happens
