spade 224
Just Checked Wiki Out And Arsenal Where Relegated FFS . . I'd Off Lost Money On That ! I've Always Thought They Where Never Relegated . , Ah Well Can't Be Right All The Time If that's right I would have lost money too. At one point going back a few years Arsenal had the longest unbroken run in the top flight with Coventry City in second place needing several years to catch us up. baw 4,360
Giving moyes a 6 year contract is a signal to the fans to give him time, no other need for it. At the end of the day it was ferguson who built Man U up to what we see today. He was always going to be the one who picks his predecessor and he was always gonna pick someone he could work with and guide. Will moyes put up with it. He will to begin with but I'm sure he wants to be his own man. Tough times ahead for Man U, will the fans be patient, will the premadonnas at Man U listen to a mediocre manager in moyes? Should be interesting
bracken boy 584
if mediocre is moyes then how many good managers are there in the prem? moyes is a good manager but time will tell how good.
pritch 335
with the players he's got the ideal situation with the roony saga to lay the way forward & let everyone see he's not to be messed with right from the off,if he deals with it quickly, whatever the outcome moysey will come out a winner as they can spin it either way

If you were brought into the club and managed by sir Alex ferguson, a world renowned arguably one of the best managers and then in walks moyes, would you be overwhelmed or underwhelmed? Thats going to happen with anyone though when your involved with a massive team, especially a team thats had the same trophy winning manager for 26 years. I am still surprised with Moyes but i really hope he does a good job....for obvious reasons......

Malt 379
Just heard that Neil Lennon is the bookies fav for Everton job...................fingers crossed... Wont make any difference Lab, me or you could manage Celtic to a title with the state of the game up there at the minute! May as well hire a trained chimp to replace Lennon if he goes and chuck it a few bananas to save a few quid!
