The one 8,474
Like everything else going to be a bit later this year but as said there still no leaves on the trees so it should still work out fine Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,763
I'm waiting on a rookery but the b*****d trees have just come fully into leaf! I'll try but was really hoping they'd hold off. Where are the rest of you to have no leaves yet? The trees are green and the fields yellow here in Nott's/Linc's/Leic'! Quote Link to post
Benjet 1
trees still pretty bare in northern Ireland, seasons all messed up usually shoot branchers last week in April Quote Link to post

The Duncan 802
hi all has anyone noticed how late the young rooks are have been waiting to bag a few branchers . rooking day is traditionally 5th may . they usually fledge before this ! must be the harsh winter has anyone else noticed this or is it just the north of Ireland Its Traditionally the 12th May Correct. But you have to keep an eye on them running up to this date. For instance last year around N Bucks, by the 12th, most have the young had already flown the nest and I was left with very few delicious targets to drop. Quote Link to post
