redmoor 0 Posted August 7, 2007 Report Share Posted August 7, 2007 Drontal Plus is the best wormer out there, it will kill both tape and roundworm...effectively..the Drontal Plus single dose tablet covers dogs up to 10kg..for dog of 35kg and over there is now a Drontal XL single tablet. The rubbish that you can buy from Pet Shops contains mostly Piperazine as the active ingredient and will only kill a small percentage of any worms..and usually only roundworms..not tape too. Try an on line pet pharmacy, you should get them a bit cheaper off there rather than the Vet. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
