Bristol; Relax. I took a look at the photo's. If that's what ye got, ye got genuine Fenn Traps. Though, as Rickie implies ~ ye did rather 'Pay' for them. And again, as Lloyd points out; Ye may do better dealing with Patrick Pinker, if ye can reach his place comfortably. Weigh up his price for the genuine article and consider the cost of getting to him Vs the cost ye paid there - or could do elsewhere + carriage.

We could do with this point 'Stuck' here. But I'll repeat myself one more time now: When ever ye approach a seller purporting to offer " Fenn " traps, be sure to get it from him first, in 'writing', that these are the genuine article. Made, in Redditch, by the Fenn works. Bearing their stamp on the pan and their Patent No. on the brass catch. If it's not there? It's crap. Don't touch it at Any price.

" Springer " traps, made by AB County Products, also of Redditch, are of comparable quality and they too bear the stamp of " Springer " on the pan.

ALWAYS ensure ye'll be recieving Genuine Fenn / Springer workmanship, in writing, before placing an order and parting with ye cash.

Hi I Am New Here And I Use Fenns Traps. The Advice Here Is Spot On. If They Have Not Got The Mark And The Patent No. Stay Away From Them. Their Are People Selling Fenn Type Traps. On Ebay. Stay Away From Them As They Are SHIT. And Not The Real Deal.
