Hi I'm 30 in just over a year and want to apply for a fac for my 30th. My question is what caliber is a good all rounder for everything from rabbits to foxes. I realise this is probably the same as asking what caliber air rifle is best but the choices seem vast.

Thanks in advance

Depends on the land & your experience & what you are going to be shooting more of fox or rabbit

For mainly rabbits..

You wont be dissapointed with a 22LR, great little rifles and ammo is cheap but widely accepted (by many police forces) as NOT suitable for foxes

For rabbits and the odd fox..

Your best chance is probably a 17hmr, great for rabbits and many forces seem to accept fox with it, I think the ammo for them is a little bit pricey at the minute though.

If your going to be shooting more foxes than rabbits it would be better to get a more capable caliber like a 22 hornet or a 22-250
