Chicken_man 1,651
Question ! Had a power cut on Fri for 7hrs and again yesterday for about the same . I was not notified about it , to say the least a little fed up . My eggs in the incubator are about 4 days away from hatching , what are their chances ?

Lab 10,979
Did you open it??
TWOTWOTHREE 152
Should be ok if kept shut.its little to close to hatch but fingers crossed.its ok at the early stages I've used eggs thats been a week outside in a ducks nest and very cold to make the numbers up and they all hatched, had a incubator pack up full of tirkey eggs,a week before due and.didnt get it sorted till the next morning and they all came off.so good luck Atb
burnie69 376
You'd lost humidity more then heat but you still should have some hatch. Thats as long as you didn't open it.

Lab 10,979
wont covering it with a blanket help if you know the powers going off ?? Well if you know it's going off I'd say a generator would be better than a fecking blanket... Lol
Chicken_man 1,651
Unfortunately i was not informed about the power going off . I may well invest in a generator for the future , would come in handy anyway . Incubator was not opened , so ill wait and see . No pipping yet , will give it a couple of days . Thanks Folks
