Question !

Had a power cut on Fri for 7hrs and again yesterday for about the same . I was not notified about it , to say the least a little fed up . My eggs in the incubator are about 4 days away from hatching , what are their chances ?

Should be ok if kept shut.its little to close to hatch but fingers crossed.its ok at the early stages I've used eggs thats been a week outside in a ducks nest and very cold to make the numbers up and they all hatched, had a incubator pack up full of tirkey eggs,a week before due and.didnt get it sorted till the next morning and they all came off.so good luck

wont covering it with a blanket help if you know the powers going off ??

Well if you know it's going off I'd say a generator would be better than a fecking blanket... Lol

Unfortunately i was not informed about the power going off . I may well invest in a generator for the future , would come in handy anyway . Incubator was not opened , so ill wait and see . No pipping yet , will give it a couple of days . Thanks Folks :bye:
