BIG G wheton machine 1,594 Posted May 5, 2013 Report Share Posted May 5, 2013 ive 3 I like. the 1st is sliced pigeon brest flash fried in a hot pan then a beef oxo n a little water in the pan reduce till thick then pour over buttery champ . feckin lovely. 2 is wild duck mallard or teal roasted over a bbq or campfire then ate as is nice aswell. 3 is greylag goose roasted in the oven wit an onion inside the cavity and potatoes carrots and parsnips around the sides of it roasting in the goose fat its lovely also. don't get me startedon my brown n seatrout fishcakes yum yum im having them the mara night Quote Link to post Share on other sites

sussex 5,777 Posted May 6, 2013 Report Share Posted May 6, 2013 My wife thought she had taken two venison steaks out the freezer only to discover it was a whole sirloin when defrosted ( my fault for not labelling it ) so we have just had medallions of venison in red wine sauce ...stunning .the two of us eat the whole sirloin .... greedy or what !!
