On heading back to the motor my old ticker skipped about ten beats lol as Sox lifted her head, nose in the air and sprung up a banking into some dense forestry followed instantly by the remainder and I just "knew" what they had got wind and then sight of...holy shit it crossed the track and headed straight towards a car park which was full and with people including kiddies all returning or heading off into and from the forest...thankfully it had a good head start and it was Swift who took a full ten minutes to return....best laugh was a chap on a mountain bike was on the purpose made narrow track when the critter shot past followed by the mutts lol..he nearly went head over tits ....b*****d things they are..you can just see it crossing the track heading for the car park lol...

He's got a few bits of "bark" missing on his legs mate...to be fair they both jump anything I confront them with now, sometimes they make em look hard work but as long as they get to the other side that'll do for me :-) not a fecking chance will I lift them unless they are seriously awkward...

Know what you mean, they can put you in a very awkward position, often when you least expect it,dont know if they are the same in all parts of the country, but the squirrels in my haunts always seem to have a big old bouncy white tail end

I had our Dean ready to run and get Swift lol..I was holding the others haha...she's a b*****d if she gets a sight of them :-) tell you what Tomo the others had atleast 40 yards on her heading into the trees, when that came out she was next in line and 20 yards atleast in front of them curs :-) like our Dean said that old fecker can still run and show them young un's lol...fat as butter she is,grey as me but a lovely dog to have at heel and she can and has done well at most tasks of lurcherwork...I think old Visa spat a few handy mutts out :-)

Can't beat experience! Ol swift shows them how it's done and when it comes to them things she'd run through a brick wall for them!! I heard a big scream and looked at my dad and thought f**k sake she's pulled it, but it must of been a woman screaming at the course hahaha!! Sox came out the wood with 3 lame legs hahahaha!! Greyhound for ya!
