which do you prefer.

 

Light ferrets to see ticks cuts fleas better or darker ferret and why?

 

I know somebody will say workers but just colour opinions would be good.

They will both work the same, I prefer light coloured ones as they are easier to see in cover, just a personal thing.

like the lighter coloured ferrets best to work, but darker ferrets look better imo. but at the end of the day they all work the same

I prefer lighter for working, at least a white head/big mask, easier to spot. Like a classic polecat coloration otherwise just for looks.

always kept albinos liked them quite a bit but I've had polecats this year or 2 and would prefer them til albino one not that there's any difference work wise just my personal opinion

Prefer albinos although ive kept all diff colours in the past, plus ive a fancy to try ferreting by moonlight and albinos would suit that job perfect

I prefer lighter coloured ferrets as there easier to see in cover , working all albino's you cant see if there all showing so , albino's and differnt types of silvers seem to work for me and one poley

I love my polecats and blackeyed whites not fussed on albinos tbh

Light ones for me .... As long as they work it doesn't bother me but a light coloured ferret is easier to spot but my best jill I've ever had was a polecat coloured one for working. I will only use small jills saves haveing to untangle the nets
