Pianoman Is A Very Happy Customer Of Sandwell Field Sports

Recommended Posts

Righty-ho then, in the belief of fairness, clarity and honesty.

While my original thread has descended pointlessly into another internet forum ding-dong with Milegajo at the centre of it ...again! (Not the first time is it Miles/Mike! Won't be the last either, I'll bet....LADDIE!!) Tony Wall and I have been in communications and resolved our differences. Very, very well and amicably indeed!

This good man has offered, in the name of goodwill and good business, to tune my HW97KT for just the price of the postage...And it will no doubt stun and exasperate the grasping, freeloading, something-for-nothing nature of certain individuals that I have emailed him declining this generous offer.

Why?

Because I believe in old fashioned crap like fair play and honesty. And not grabbing an exploitative advantage from the livelyhood of a decent man for personal gain. I am in a highly competitive business myself and it's bloody tough enough as it is out there, without exploiting a man's decency over a situation he has not created.

I had originally ordered a tuning kit for which my very loyal, very talented and very dear friend AndyFR1968 here is going to install and tune-in. And that is all I want. Just my original order, as required and expected, delivered and fitted.

This whole matter began from a perceived lack of communication between Sandwell and me. It transpires Tony sent several emails which never arrived on my system, asking me for advices about the piston head that Weihrauch cannot get their shipping department to send over. I have seen these emails and their dates of transmission.

His every request to Hull Cartridge was met with "Soon" from the German end..and doing nothing further.

Maybe, it has taken my original rant of displeasure to provoke action, I had phoned Sandwell twice to find out about my order, and the response was always. "Still waiting for Weihrauch to send the head...!"

What had fired me up was a percieved situation where orders for tuned rifles seemed to be getting done for members here, while a simple order for a tuning kit was left apparently dragging...

That is not the case, as has been proven to me by Tony's communications with me.

To remedy this matter, he has stripped the head from a brand new rifle and put it into the kit. On Tuesday, after the Bank Holiday, he will be dispatching it to Andy's address, as I have requested, where the rifle is and all will be well.

In due course, when I require a rifle to be tuned by him, I will pay for the privelidge of his workmanship, as I expect to be paid for mine!

I hope this clears up the situation and restores everyone's good faith and sound dealings with an honest Gentleman. Something not exactly common in the business world these days.

Treat others as you would wish to be treated! With respect, fairness and decency.

That's me. You know, I love old fashioned, out-of-date things like that!

God bless all here.

Give me an hour whilst I dream up something slanderous. Lol.

I would be willing to have a trip over to see you and Andy. Simon. Once the gear arrives.

That's if you will have me?

I stink of piss a bit but I'm more than happy to stand on the doorstep.

What a gent Simon  .

You didn't need to do that but you did which shows the calibre of you as a man and a gent.

I will pass on this to Tony as he doesn't go onto this site ever and i know he will be very grateful to you my friend.

Your post also shows the calibre of my good friend Tony and the quality of services you get from him and the staff at SFS.

All the best Simon to you and Helen. I look forward to seeing you both on Saturday mate.

Si.

to be honest with you simon you have really disappointed me regarding this matter!! i would of expected and hoped for at least one use of the word "LADDIE" from you during this discussion! instead i have had to amuse my tiny mind with skots "hair salon " comments :D glad you are getting sorted and the out come prove that you and mr wall are true gents! fair play to you both! but choose your hair salons carefully. ha ha

Great to hear Simon. T'would appear order and honour is rightfully restored. A ball or two will inevitably be dropped by a busy enterprise, hopefully your case will keep the fumbles to a minimum.

Despite the negative its ended on a positive which is great for both parties.

Communication is key!

Alls well that ends well eh Gromit!

Pianoman,

This is my first post on here but I have been browsing the site for a couple of weeks now.

I have been following the thread on here about you not being a happy bunny with SFS but it is good that you are now happy with the outcome. Glad to see that you are a man after my own heart. Takes a long time to complain and then willing to give credit and thanks when sorted.

I have been in the consumer industry for nearly 30 years and there are more people who will complain at a drop of a hat but will not give thanks when sorted. It is great to see that some people on here are like your good self and show your gratitude when sorted to your liking.

Hope your tune goes well and worth the wait. I have just had my HW77 tuned by Welsh Willy and he has done a great job and had good comunication with him throughout.

haha sorry skot it was the only humor to be gleaned from the situation! to cut a long story short (back an sides) i wont mention it again even if people talk about getting new perms, or catch mullet in the fishing section, i will not highlight it again,
