Got a phonecall off a friend of mine that lives about 40mins away, and it went a little like this...... "Howdy mate, Hope you dont mind but I've passed your number on to a guy who has a rabbit problem on a sporting establishment, we dont really want to drive the distance (40mins each way) so thought of you what with you being up that way" "Not at all mate, whats the script?" "I'll call you back with his number at my lunchbreak and you can arrange to meet up " "Sound mate, speak soon" Later that day..... "Howdy mate....Right, grab a pen, his details are.....******.....*****, I've called him and passed your dtails on" "Nice one mate....much appreciated, I owe you one!!" I made the call and went to see the guy today, smartly dressed(no combats) with a covering letter, the permission slips, a google maps printout of his "area" and copy of insurance. The guy was so impressed at the organisation, diplomacy and professionalism he asked for more cards to give out to his "associates" So.... The permission is now signed, sealed and delivered!All he asked for was to let him know via email the numbers we get and also to inform the local police of our presence. One very happy pair!! Lewis Ste 245 Posted May 4, 2013 Report Share Posted May 4, 2013 My mams stables where she keeps her horses has just been bought out so she is now renting out her on livery to herself and couple of friends so have got my local permission sorted for the summer.
