Malt 379
Freshly cut grass and moss remind me of grandad. His lawn was immaculate and we used to go off fetching moss for his hanging baskets.. Also the smell from his bird sheds, a mixture of dust, seeds, bird shit and whatever he used to clean them out with..
04fox8 168
The smell from stick welding reminds me of when I was little and they were doing a lot of 'upgrading' on the farm. Pipe Tobacco reminds me of my granda, we were just little when he died, and I got an envelope full of fencing staples he had in his pocket.....which smelled of his tobacco. Sawdust etc in the poultry tents at shows.......reminds me when we were wee and took whatever hens we could catch to the shows....Got us free entry Petrol / tar / tyres / grass cuttings....all remind me of something. Just yesterday, the cleaners at work had used some stinky stuff which reminded me of a 'Pongo' Pig shaped air freshener that my dad had in our viva when I was little. As for just a general, fine smell or 2, Peats burning on the fire, or the smell of pine from chippings you get at a soggy showground, or like when we got a load of firewood delivered, Outside in the morning and it smelled great.
