Bantam Orientals ?

Anyone keep bantam oriental game or crosses.

Thinking of getting some,wondered what they were like to keep.

just the pekins and silkies, they are great to keep, nice and friendly and decent layers, about 5 per week each at the moment.

Had a few old english game (furness),very high pitched vocal little birds,good layer's but too noisy for me as I keep them in back garden,got a little mixed flock now including a couple of silkies they are real quiet look like miniature alpacas

I got brahmas and Japanese x pekins

It was more the smaller oriental game birds I was thinking of,

Iike the asil,Indian game or a crossbreed mutt.

I seen some Vietnamese bantams that looked fancy .

I thought the Asil was a big hardcase fighting bird,and the Indian game that I have seen were'nt what I would call small either

You can get bantam Indian games and people have crossed small reza asil to game bantams as well.

I've always fancied keeping some of the ko shamos, there bloody small.

Ive had bantam asil, same size as ko shamo but very different, fella near me kept bantam malay... big for bantams but nice enough

Bantam asils is what I'm probably going to hold out for,

Seen these ga tre on Internet look nice birds

Oh right,I was reading about asil's not so long ago, unreal strength,they say their fights could last for days sometimes,obvious by pictures what they we're designed for,a lad I know tried keeping some red leg partridges in a large aviary,what a mess they made of eachother eyes hanging out on sockets ffs,no wonder they call them game birds atb

I had jap quail like that early every day they would fight,no wonder they fight them abroad.

I got some ko shamo they don't crow al that loud i got the right by my bed room window and don't ear him crowning unless i already awake and the don't take much feeding a sack of layers and a sack of corn last's months hope this is of some help
