Strong Stuff 2,171
UPDATED AND EDITED, Sunday, 12 08, @ 9pm for the following reason: Have been at the EDRD show today with a few bits and bobs, these couples amongst them, and have been listening to the feedback given today, the most obvious thing being the price .......... So I came home tonight and have gone through the invoices for the parts and materials used to make them to see exactly how much they owe me, and I've made a mistake ............... a genuine one, which I'm hopefully about to put right! I was looking at the prices of the buckles and webbing, but the wrong webbing and buckles, it was the big stuff (2") I was looking at the prices of. Also it was pointed out to me that the "Brass" couples are in fact Brass Plated, I bought them as solid, but can't send them back, so will have to bite the bullet on the price. So just for a change in this life, the price is going down ........... New revised prices are : 1 Couple complete, (1 pair of 1" wide webbing collars and 1 couple) £12 (plus £3 post) Total £15 I've got about 10 pairs of "Brass" ones already made up, the couples are as stated Brass Plate, but the buckles and slide on the collars are solid Brass. These can go at the same price as the steel £15 inc post, but when they've gone ............... Assorted colours for now, pm me if you have a specific choice please. Have still got some 1 and a quarter inch wide collars on couples, these are £2 extra Total £17 inc post. I sold 1 pair today to a young lad, I owe him a £5, I'm sure I'll see him again, if anyone has sent me money for any couples, then I will adjust the price and return the change with their couples. Hope that sounds fair?! Hi all, finally managed to get around to making these, many thanks to those who helped me with measurements etc, much appreciated. These aren't intended to be "better" than any other companies collars, just different, as far as I have seen no one offers collars to fit couples in Nylon Webbing, certainly not in made to measure sizes. One of the benefits of Nylon Webbing is that it can be properly washed, therefore removing any traces of blood, to wash them I'd suggest a good scrub in warm water in a bucket, but I have heard of lads putting them in the washing machine ............ After washing them, can I suggest that you give a quick squirt of WD40 down the gap in the roller on the buckle, these can get a bit powdery as the plating can not be done in this part of the buckle for some reason, light oil works well here too (3 in 1 type) Anyway, here they are: Collars 3 ply, 5 rows of stitching, reinforced at stress points. Available in 3 colours at present, Red, Green and Black. Prices are : 1 pair of terrier Couples complete £20 + £3 postage 1 pair of collars £13 + £2 postage. As always discount for bigger orders. Payment is by either Cash (Recorded Post) or UNcrossed Postal Orders please. Many thanks. Aaron Edited September 2, 2007 by IanB

Strong Stuff 2,171
Have been asked for clearer photo of just one pair of couples, so here it is: One inch wide collars: One and a quarter inch wide collars (just a bit more substantial for the slightly bigger dogs) Not a huge difference between 1" and 1 1/4" wide, but the 1 1/4" are definitely "chunkier" Have just had a delivery, Brass couples, and Brown and Navy Blue 1" webbing, will get some photos up of those later.
