One In The Bag, Thanks To Woodga And Glen..

Recommended Posts

Hey All..

Watched Woodga`s dvd for the first time a few days ago, and was really impressed. So then I ordered a kg of wire and eyes. While I was waiting for my gear, I made 8 figure 4 tealers and 8 singles, then ran out of 2.4mm wire, melted lead into a tin for my 7lb weight and stood some wire in it to make the hook, that was it, I was away, knocking up 200 wires over the two days.

With rabbits being thin on the ground this year, my freezer is pretty empty, so I headed to a massive thick bramble patch,on some made up ground(landfill) behind an industrial estate which is too big to ferret on my own or even with a pal, yet holds quite a few by the looks of it.

Ive been setting 8 and checking them early morning and last thing at night, and yesterday Ive started catching.. I had one small one yesterday and one small one this morning. So now I know I can do it if I have to, Im gonna lift them tonight and give them a break then hopefully get stuck in later in the year.

The dvd is well recommended, as is Fourteenacre. I also found reading the Glen waters snareing thread pinned by Ian very helpful too..

Thanks Lads... Just the one picture, clean kill..

Get on it Westy, awsome feeling, after a few blanks, to find one, or god forbid more than one caught up. Nice to see them working as they should too.

Nice one Nels, Life saver... Again. I`ll drop you a PM..
