the big chief 3,099
hi all had another trip out with the r10 after having a pellet problem i changed them to rws super field as a member on hear said they was prety good in r10's well they was i had a shot at a forty plus yard shot at a woody and hit the branch in front of it but i went a little further and two wood pigen was sat about 30 yards away from me one just flew off witch left a nice one for me i took aim and hit hit right in its chest i was aiming for a heart shot but i got it just to the left of it it dropped right away but was still alive so i gave it a humane head shot. hears a pic of the one i got today and the one i shot yesterday. Craig Fosse 286
You know what I like about this post, honesty, the actual courage to turn around and say you didn't kill it first time, I hear to many people on sites like this sound as if they never ever make a mistake or slightly miss, when in fact we are all human and do from time to time. Good on you, and I'm glad you have some meat for the table! Craig Quote Link to post

Craig Yes, thats a fact, the amount of times i have had to leave a hide to finish off a bird is quite a lot over the years, rabbits too, But most of the time happily, i get it right. probably the same for every one craig, they just dont mention it. atb phil Quote Link to post

milegajo 595
Say what you like about R10's... I think they are sexy! Couldn't care if it lobbed pellets sideways. I'd buy a HW100 to kill the pest, then lay the R10 down for the trophy picture! Quote Link to post
