Has anyone used one of these rifles, whats your verdict compared to other similar precharged, has the sport dropped much weight..

Brilliant guns, i like the thumbhole better.there is a shorter, lighter K out( if you can find one).

the 14 shot system makes it imposible to double load.the silencers are amazing.

overall they take some beating

Superb rifle, Ian. The 'S' feels much lighter than the 'K' although it's down to balancing. I rate this rifle over all the others and despite some early complaints I've yet to use one that was anything less than amazing.

 

Money well spent in my opinion.

Only down side is if its under powered you have to send them back to the dealer.

Had a HW100 for a while now Ian and had been very happy with it till it feck up think a spring has gone in it taking it to Keiths sports today to get it sorted .

Sorry to hear that nobby, hope you get it back to normal..I was tempted by the hw100, they look a quality gun .. might have to have a whirl of yours once its back to full health

Ive got a HW100K which is by far the best air rifle ive ever owned, get one mate you wont regret it !!

shot all variants of the '100 and owned the 100 thumbhole mk2 in .177 - even for a shordass like me it was one of the best rifles i have ever owned and virtually flawless in every way - i never did get on with the sporter stock but im a left hander (they dont do a lh sporter but i can get on with some right handers - to give a comparison). to be honest weight was never an issue as it is balanced so well.

 

as for power adjustment - mk1's and 2's occasionally suffered either way with power (if youre talking about 12 ft lbs that is - mine was nearer 13 with my chosen pellet) - adjustment is easy on these versions and i do not know any way of doing the later models without a factory return (thats not to say it cant be done if needed). i only sold mine cause' of financial difficulties - got a S200 now - again bloody accurat but lacks the finesse of the '100

 

many people shot my rifle a the club -and many bought one on the strength of it!!
