Waz 4,252
Accusations were made against so'vile while he was alive, the old boys net work helped him out though, as he had friends in high places. all these cases are hopefully making other abuse victims come forward, not just the press grabbing celbrite abusers. Same as Cyril Smith.
LaraCroft 863
Accusations were made against so'vile while he was alive, the old boys net work helped him out though, as he had friends in high places. Luckily, lots of those old boys are now retired and dead, so its now or never for a lot of these other cases. Also, hopefully the fact that people are now being taken seriously has helped others come forward. It's a good thing in my eyes. No matter how long you might have gotten away with it, you can always be brought to justice. I also hope that this is the case when dealing with the hugest section of abusers, which are family members, all these cases are hopefully making other abuse victims come forward, not just the press grabbing celbrite abusers. Very true - having the courage to speak out is one thing, having it brushed under the carpet is another - and probably why a lot of people kept quiet. Thank goodness things seem to be changing for the better.

talt 878
Isnt it a strange coincidence that the BBC seem to have employed a lot of these f***ers. Although its fair to say it seems rife throughout the entertainment industry.

To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps !

I've said it before..I,ll hang the b***%*d publically on TV live...give me the job.. UK Executioner Celeb Pervo/Peado Death Match ! put them all on live TV in a game show style death match.. they all die eventually,,but we get some of our own entertainment back from these despicable low lifes..Get the victimes and generall public to phone in (premium rate obviously)and chose there live on air punishments and watch them sqiurm as they get abused to Death ! walshie 2,804
I'm aware of the reasons why it has taken so long for these victims to come forward, but it's a shame it took so long. At 83 he's not going to be here much longer, so whatever punishment he gets is only going to be short term. If he had been outed at the time it had happened, he'd have had a decent spell in jail, then a life of looking over his shoulder to see if anyone in the street was going to batter him. Rather than being a "jolly celebrity" earning very good wages and living a life of luxury.
