Isnt it a strange coincidence that the BBC seem to have employed a lot of these f***ers. Although its fair to say it seems rife throughout the entertainment industry.

I dunno - at the time there were only 3 or 4 channels, and now Coronation Street is looking decidedly dodgy. To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps !

What about that business with Len Fairclough ? (Lara's too young to remember!)

Oh yes! i remember the swimming lesson story.

Len was Rita from the Kabin's first husband - before she married the bloke who died of cancer and the one who got run over by a Blackpool tram. (Not that I ever watch it, you understand.) :icon_redface::whistling:

They went on holiday, and he tried to kill her and claim the insurance money (as you do), but she rumbled him and he ran off....in front of a tram. Really, Lara, this is popular culture, you know ! :D
