Blackbriar 8,569
Isnt it a strange coincidence that the BBC seem to have employed a lot of these f***ers. Although its fair to say it seems rife throughout the entertainment industry. I dunno - at the time there were only 3 or 4 channels, and now Coronation Street is looking decidedly dodgy. To be fair, it is the most interest I have ever shown for Corrie - I hate soaps ! What about that business with Len Fairclough ? (Lara's too young to remember!) Oh yes! i remember the swimming lesson story. http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/andrewmcfbrown/100202977/this-isnt-the-first-time-a-coronation-street-star-has-faced-potentially-career-destroying-allegations/ TC Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water....... Len was Rita from the Kabin's first husband - before she married the bloke who died of cancer and the one who got run over by a Blackpool tram. walshie 2,804
Just saw this morning that Hall has put all his stuff in his wife's name so his victims will have no chance of suing him. Sneaky b*stard. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/bbc/10036625/Stuart-Hall-accused-of-dodging-payout-for-abuse-victims.html

I thought it was set in Manchester ! (or am I having a real blonde moment ? ) They went on holiday, and he tried to kill her and claim the insurance money (as you do), but she rumbled him and he ran off....in front of a tram. Really, Lara, this is popular culture, you know !
