fitchet 788
A friend of mines saluki x had its tail shut in the door of a motor back end of last season. The tail has healed but has a slight kink in it. The dog had a run a little while back and to me it looked the tail was affecting its turning. His uncle who races greyhounds said the tail needs breaking and splinting. Any advice ??
Millet 4,497
I think the best thing to do is tell your mate to ask a vet that question..
bryanm45 787
How far along is the "kink", mine has the last 1.5 inches at right angles to the tail and it doesn't affect her running, it broke in the womb before she was born, so she knows no different.

Mickey Finn 3,017
Flitchet, I'm no expert on running dogs. But, given enough runs. I'm willing to bet the dog will adapt. ATB
