I wasn't even sure if these were what I thought they were as they were that high up until I got home and checked the pics on the comp, first time seeing these for me so well chuffed :thumbs:

Yes mate Scottish crossbill, the pine cones were falling out the trees and I was thinking thats strange its not even that windy lol, looked up and there they were, as I say chuffed to bits :thumbs:

Nice when you see something unusual, I was chuffed as hell when I saw my first choughs last year, just gutted I didn't have a camera with a decent zoom on it.. :thumbs:

aye pity mate, left the house without the camera a couple of months back and spotted some waxwings, carried on walking the dogs and about an hour later got back to the house and it was bugging me lol grabbed the camera, went back out and they were still there :) first time I,ve seen these for about 20 years I reckon :thumbs:
