Mr Grey Needs More Than A Few Stiches

Recommended Posts

Evening

I bought some new pellets the other day (Baracuda Hunter Extreme .22) so after work yesterday I tried them out on the paper targets. Was pleased with the groups I was getting (5 shots covered by 1p) at 30 yards. so went a walk on my closest permission to my house as the sun was out. Had a scan of the areas that usually have rabbits jumping about and nothing about.

Sat In the shade for about 45min near the woods and was visited by my first grey squirrel of the year :)

The pellet made a solid crack as it struck the skull and on closer inspection I seen why!!!!!!.

Happy with the pellets going to try them out tomorrow night on the rabbits.

Cheers

Bloody hell bud them .22 pellets are nearly the same weight as My .25 H & N FTT 19.91 gr

Tried the ones out in .25 but far to heavy at 28 gr more for FAC Guns in .25 cal,

Same damage though as what my gun achieves.

The pellet is grouping great so ill see how they do with the rabbits, I know some pellets are gimmicks but this just shows what a sub 12 air rifle is capabile of, all that matters is a quick clean kill and with that accuracy is paramount :)

Hello Stuart you have saved me time because I have just brought a tin of the same pellet and was going out one day this week to check them in my AA410. But your test seem to show that they do what they are designed for.
