2013 British And Irish Lions Tour To Australia.

Recommended Posts

There were a few that really put their hands up today. Tom youngs, Jamie Roberts (as long as his ankle is ok)1/2p, Foxy and Heislip all done their cause a power of good. On the other hand some of the front row replacments were woeful, Hibbard especially.

What a great game and a great way to silence the "naysyers" the win was based on a power game and when played correctly is hard to live with for any team imo, yes its one dimensional at times but when

I like the way people of all nations have got behind the British and Irish lions on here. Some of the vitriol towards other nations players on other sites has to be seen to be believed. On this thread

Well a wins a win and thats about all. The ref aside (Dont like slagging refs off) the Lions looked very nervous and seemed to wait to see what the Wallibes did first before doing their own stuff. 3 i

Croft had a solid game and Warburton worked had and did a lot of hard work, AWJ worked his socks off but man of the match for me was Jonathan Davies, ran some great angles and his all round game was real good, Zebo really put his hand up today too. I didn't think Heaslip played as well has he has on tour so far tbh.

The pack that started the game is probably not far off test team, the only change I'd make at this time is maybe at 8 as that is still real close to call but the rest of the pack were on there game today though. :victory:

Still don't think Zebo is a scratch on north and Alex that first try he had the ball in the wrong hand should of finished it

Yeh he should've finished it Ow, though I think I'd start with him and Cuthbert at the moment with North(doubtful) and Bowe out of the first test tbh. Maitland had a chance today to push for a test spot on the wing but his defence was poor again today.

Todays game was a step up in intensity and the Lions showed some good stuff, they did look a little dis-jointed when they made all them subs though.

Pretty much pick the Test team from todays 22 IMO. Bar the odd 1 or 2. Maitland is a no no. As is Zebo. Front row all did well, Second row is a shoe in. Maybe a back row change ;) but other than that i think thats it for next week.

So you wouldn't have BOD or Manu involved in the first test then?

You have to remember that J Davies plays 12 for the Scarlets so if either Roberts or Manu are not involved in the first test I'd imagine they'll go For Davies at 12 and BOD at 13, I can't see Twelvetrees being involved in the test 23, not had any game time yet and even if he plays 80 minutes on tuesday I can't see him getting in the test squad.

BOD may get a game, but who does he replace ?? My backs would be Phillips, Sexton, Roberts, Davies, North, 1/2 penny and ........Errrmm not sure. Maybe 1/2 penny on the wing with Kearney at full back.

Looks very Welsh, so why upset that with BOD ?? He could make the bench though.

I wouldn't pick Tuilagi, too one dimensional for me.

Injurys may yet make someones tour.

All I could see was that he was a bigger girls blouse than North when tackling, those XXXX swilling Ossies don't do pattercake. ;)
