2013 British And Irish Lions Tour To Australia.

Farrell was holding him in a ruck, happens all the time, Brits over-reacted but Farrell showed a side I thought was real bad when he clapped when Brits got carded. I think if it had been a "test" match then Brits would've got a red.

Don't think it will be long before we see another 10 get a call up tbh.

What a great game and a great way to silence the "naysyers" the win was based on a power game and when played correctly is hard to live with for any team imo, yes its one dimensional at times but when

I like the way people of all nations have got behind the British and Irish lions on here. Some of the vitriol towards other nations players on other sites has to be seen to be believed. On this thread

Well a wins a win and thats about all. The ref aside (Dont like slagging refs off) the Lions looked very nervous and seemed to wait to see what the Wallibes did first before doing their own stuff. 3 i

Didn't see Farrell clapping, that's almost as bad as Brits hitting the deck after he got a tap back..

I follow his stuff on Facebook, puts some real funny things up fair play!

A good win, even though it was against a weakened side.. Good to see Halfpenny still kicking well, 11 out of 11 and some of them from out on the touchline! :good: Good to see a side play with a kicker not playing at 10, sometimes I feel other shortcomings at fly half are glossed over when they've got their kicking boots on and banging them over. With Halfpenny in the side whoever is playing there can be given some proper scrutiny..

Good result fair play, lots of positives especially 10-12-13 combination. The back 3 looked solid, North looked strong with some nice soft hands in a few moves, Halfpenny's kicking was faultless. Sexton was solid without being flashy and BOD and Manu linked really well several times.

Heaslip was my pick of the pack, Sean O'Brien was a good link man too, Faletau looked impressive when he came on too.

Defence around the fringes was poor today I thought and a place I think the Aussies will try to exploit, hopefully Healy isn't to badly injured but still may get some punishment for the "alleged" biting.

All in all I think Gatland will be happy with plenty of competition for places which in itself pushes players to perform that little bit extra. :victory:

A bit worrying this defense, something that Farrell Snr needs to address. O'Brien should've rhino'd his man and Sexton gives his man a soft shoulder to run at, Sexton is usually a very strong one on one tackler.

Have to agree with that by breaking the line he allowed the try in the first gif to happen.

That defence was piss poor, Shaun Edwards must be sat somewhere with a big smile on his face knowing shit like that wouldn't be happening on his watch..

The game against the Reds will probably be the Lions toughest game(excluding Tests) so this game should give us a better idea of how the Lions are improving, the fringe defense was very poor against the Force, I expected our defense to be solid but I suppose if we're going to miss tackles then these provisional games are the ones to do it in.
