My Pup Ripped Open His Foot :(

Recommended Posts

My 3/4 saluki grey cut one of his hind feet on a peice of barbed wire that was lying next to a fence ffs lucky it wasn't worse tbh

He's got stiches in now ffs

His cut don't look overly bad here but it's deep couldn't get a good pic :(

Horrible b*****d stuff the barbed wire, nearly disembowled one of my old bitches,my mates terrier ran in front of her just as she was about to jump the last fence at the end of a good trip out, wish it could be banned and replaced with black/hawthorn hedging etc, increase wildlife habitat at the same time, look on the bright side though, plenty of time for the young fella to heal and be fit again for the season atb mate

looks fairly superficial bud it'll mend in no time, i'd be tempted to leave it open fresh air and the dog itself will sort it, just keep an eye on it and keep it clean, and bonus is you'll be able to spend a wee bit more time with your rescued bitch atb

happens to us all jd my dhxgh split his back end open from top of back leg to the other was a right mess didn't even know till i got home with him having such a rough coat thats a massive downside with rough hared dogs they can hide alot of big cuts on the pluss side pal its not happened at the start of the season like mine did
