Hi Mate, if you want high quality gear that you can fit and forget then Strong stuff kit is excellent and will probably out last your dogs!

I don't know much about Gafer's offerings but some good lads on here like his kit and that is good enough for me.

At the end of the day it all depends on personal taste, best of luck.

Nice looking stuff are they light?

They certainly aren't over heavy but the workmanship and the materials are definitely heavy duty. I genuinely don't think you can find a cheaper alternative offering anywhere near this kind of quality. Do your self a favour and get an order together. You wont have to worry about ever buying them again.

I have the 1.5's and matching leads for my dogs. Although when I get the new pup I will go for a lurcher type from him.

By the way, I am not on commission lol but I don't have money to chuck about anymore and I am a firm believer in buy quality, buy once.

Hope that helps.

I have got a slip lead off strong stuff and it is light strong and does the job perfectly ... The other bonus is that it will fit all neck sizes without any adjustment ................

Great thread by the way...

This is what I use...simple and very effective...used this for 2 seasons...

And if I lose it, which I will do one day...it'll cost pennies to replace and take 30 seconds to make... :D

Strongstuff gear is spot on.

I got him to put an extra ring on the handle end of my extra strong and thick leads and they double up perfectly as game carriers. 20 bunnies on each lead easy.
