Never Misses A Beat..

Hey Skot,

Just picked up a 95 myself but hardly shot it yet. Previous owner swore by Daystate Li's, but they group like a shotgun! What pellets does yours like?

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim,

well, i was half way through typing a massive post, on my phone on my break at work, but then it decided to reboot itself :icon_eek:

so basically with my 95k i have tried 4 pellets.

bisley magnum just for chronoing it mainly and a quick group at close range..

h&n ftt which are pretty consistent and give nice groups

daystate Li, which have about 30 fps spread in 10 shots, and like yours group 'like a shotgun' ... well not quite but its hard to get a 2p sized 5 shot group at 35 yards...

then theres jsb exact 4.52, which quite frankly, it loves

only 12 fps spread over 10 shots straight from the tin, (unwashed unweighed) and my rifle is not tuned either. so that number could improve. you see some rifles that do 3-4 fps spread over 10 shots and the potential is there for my 95k.

im by no means a sniper or a crackshot, im pretty good , just above average lol, but these jsb's can hit a 5p every shot at 35yards when i do my bit..

like i said i havent tried many but jsb are deffo a hell of a lot better than the daystates in my 95, and my 97kt also .177

however, my .22 97k was very consistent with both daystate and jsb, and the groups were about the same.. so my conclusion is that either

a.) daystates Li are great in .22 and crap in .177 , OR

b.) i have a 'dodgy batch' of the .177 Li's

anyways sorry for the 3000 word essay lol, but hope this helps mate.

cheers, SKoT :victory:
