Hw97K Silencer Advice Needed

Hi Everyone

Just bought a HW97 k needs zeroing so not had it out proprerly yet just a bit of plinking and so far love it except along-side my HW 100kt it sounds sooooo loud. Anyone got any ideas re silencers??? any advice greatfully accepted.

a silencer might help a little, but mostly its the noise of the spring and piston inside the gun, that you cant really do much about. springers will always be loud lol.

especially compared to a pcp!

 

if you must, you can get an adaptor thing to go on the end of your 97 but you have to unscrew it or summat, i was going to get one for mine, but decided its too much cost, and effort for basically nothing lol

 

thats just my oppinion though.

 

also my hw97kt is quite louder than my 95k (with hw silencer) so it might make more of a differnce than I think.

 

still, good luck if you decide to go for it.

Thanks for the advice, I will keep it in mind. I have an SMK springer so am familiar with the spring and piston sound this just seems even louder. A loan of a silencer someone local would solve it.
