Shamo 319
I have had Birds from Eggs from a friend in Japan, direct, and some amongst them had Wattles and yellow Eyes. This Bird in the Pic does, however, look like a Mongrel to me and not my 'type'. This time of year no Game Fowl will look too clever though. Julia Keeling had some 'pure' Jap stuff come over, among others, it is the source of some them that were questionable by some. A lot of guys keep 'Show strains' in Japan too........That's it for me, the end of my Bi-Monthly contribution to the Site, lol. fieldsportsman 107
To be honest, my initial thought was..he might have shamo in him, but like has been mentioned defonitely not a pure, just by looking at its proportions etc. no idea what its other make up would be, but i think it boild down to what you want it for, as in for shows or just something to look at and please
