Lelandsdad1 4
I finally had the chance to shoot a rabbit today in the field over my hedge the land owner doesn't let anybody shoot on his land but I'm a family friend and have just moved into 1 of his cottages. There's rabbits everywhere around here so today after getting a go ahead to shoot on the land I spotted a rabbit pretty close in the field. so I went outside and grabbed my rifle from the shed popped my head up just a little to see if he was still there. All good so I made my way to the hedge and came up slowly and rested the gun but I wasn't happy with angle so I went further down the hedge to a place I was happy. This is my first time killing a rabbit with an air rifle normally it's with a 22 rim fire over a mates permission. So I wanted to be 100% sure before pulling the trigger. it was sat at about 50 yards so I lined the second mil dot up on its head and when I was happy sent the RWS superdome towards it. With a little thud it rolled and didn't make another move. So it's now in the freezer waiting for his mates to join him so I can put them all in a nice pie. Not sure if the image is working it was too big to add in the post and not to sure how to sort it http://i1190.photobucket.com/albums/z456/lelandsdad/0CDF339B-EA21-4F4F-968A-D220C378B6AA-4005-0000025379E63C52.jpg Quote Link to post
