Got my FAC interview Tuesday morning, I bolted my gun and ammo safes in today. Had my SGC for about 4 years now.

I have applied for a .17 HMR and a .223 both with mods, I submitted a tad over 1000 acres of land.

 

Could someone give me an example of "good reason" with regards to owning firearms. Also will the land checks be done at the same time if the land is not already cleared?

You got the possible "mentor" angle covered ? as that seems to be the norm.... not legally required BUT imposed by most authorities

No, not really. What happens if a mentor is suggested and I don't know of anyone suitable??

 

I wouldn't be that fussed if I was only granted the HMR to start with..So maybe that will be on the cards without having a mentor? and go for the .223 later.
