Best Way to keep the water bottle attached to the cage?

Try and get a spring that will fit around the bottle but make it a tight fit (If you know what I mean?) That way you can just leave it on the cage all the time and slot it in and out when changing the water, its probably much easier than the wire you got with the bottle. Or like H&J says, use a bowl that screws to the cage. Thats what I use and its never spilled. :D

have just got in from working nights, and aint gonna go take a picture, but will post one later,

take a piece of wire mesh prefebably 3/4 squares

14 holes width x 13 holes long you would then cut 5x5 holes from the two bottom corners and then bend the remaining into a box shape, fix to cage with plastic ties and the drinker fits inside, being only open at the top, no way of it being dislodged

re reading that you still wont be any wisher, I'll post a piccy later

We use springs that we bought at the Ardingly Smallholders fair, they are designed to fit round bottles and have split rings at either end to attach to the wires.

So much sturdier than the wire clips that come with the bottles and you don't have to take them off to change the water.

Have tried to find a link on google/fleabay but no luck yet.

as promised, you should be able to see from the pictures, once cut and bent, hold the joins together with plastic ties, unless you have a hog ringer, the can then be either mounted to wall as shown, or even to a cage front and the bottle then faces opposite way
