hope from now on that any show that is run under the rules of the NILRC that the committee members running the shows racing on the day will not be running there dogs on the day as had happened at the last show. if they keep doing this why not let the folk who run the show and the dog judges put there dogs in as well? this needs to be fair for everybody and the committee should do this as from there show this sunday. hope they get a good turn out for a good cause. DANNY

Why does it matter about my name.im not slagging anyone or saying anything personal about them.just the facts as they stand.fact is they started the year by announcing thry were saving racing and the fact is they have made everyone hate it within two events.fact they took my money at the gate so im intitled to my opinion regardless of my name.

Many thanks Fakename / Danny 300 for your comments. So are you saying the good Terriermen,Lurchermen and Whippetmen and women of this country, should not run their own dogs at their shows, which they run for charity all over the country, North and South of the border outside the Hunting season.Do you realise the comfort these clubs and Gamefairs bring to families in this country by the revenue they make and are more than willing to give proceeds and sponsorship with a kind heart, to filter its way to those most in need, These are our valued caring hospitals and charities ..Do you know that £100 can help pay a Cancer nurse to sit with a dying patient for one night, making he or shes passing from this life a little more comfortable.I hope you have never been in that situation. I have been that soldier. Do you realise the brilliant work our hospitals do each day and night saving the lifes of our treasured children in the baby units all over the country.Do you realise that some of our children need a little more attention than others, for example Austicism/Spinabifida and so on. What would we do without our hospitals and charity to help us out in our hour of need. Ask the show sponsors, Lurcher Terrier and Whippet men and women in our canine fraternity that attend all of these shows and Gamefairs and give so generously by partaking in the shows and enjoys the days craic at the same time, what they think All the Gamefairs and clubs that run these shows, they know the end products is to help to contribute to saving lives and bring comfort to the needy . Wise up, and stop criticising these clubs and Gamefairs who are trying to give a days craic and enjoyment out from the trials and tribulations they leave behind them at home. When you bad mouth one club, you are bad mouthing them all. Life is to short for that carry on. Try and see the good in people for a change, help not criticise, and see the good work that is being done.through our clubs. I thought all this rubbish on this form was to end after last years disasters. Cut it out, because you are doing more harm than good to the Good Men and Women the Hunting world. (Lurcher/Terrier/ and Whippets)

margaret this is my last post on this. it makes common sense that who ever is over seeing the racing on the day not to run there dogs. judges dont show there dogs as some would say they favored there own dog same could be said about who is over seeing the racing thats all. now as for cancer i have lost a good few family and friends from it and have a mate fighting leukemia atm and doing well and my cousins we lad has autism and we take him when ever we can to give them a break as does the rest of the family. its got nothing to do with hunting or charity what i said so please read the end of what i said in the first post

Danny dont be trying to get out of the situation you are in with your mouth. You and Fakename.I know you, but I also think you are using a second name called Fakename. Its all about Hunting and charities and shows. You have come out of hibernation and left your knitting at home and try and do all the harm you can to the dog shows and Racedays on this form. All the good Huntsmen and women around the country run quite a few shows and sponsor ship for charities you just mentioned including the club you are trying to discredit and run into the ground at the moment. The Hunting and Show scene do not want people like you with your attitude in their midst. You are a bully, and a big child. If you do not get things your way you throw your toys out of the pram. Go and grow up and do not be trying to destroy our summer Country Sport scene. I was involved in Country sports when you were still in nappies.Ride away into the sunset, and forget to come back.

Well said Margaret.. Its impossible to please everyone. There's alot more important things in life than coming on the internet to give off about something in my opinion. Personally I thought Sundays racing was ran brilliant and raised money for a very good cause. Just my opinion.

I was delighted to support the NILRC and the good cause for which this show was run. Unfortunately I had another dog club AGM commitment on Sunday so couldn't get.

I cannot see why a club member can't run his /her dogs at their own show - there can be no bias or subjective judgement involved. I would be less happy about Club members showing dogs at their own show as it could create criticism of the judges.

But can we not give the NILRC a little bit of slack to get the organisation up and running and functioning properly?
