ratpackjack 272 Posted April 26, 2013 Report Share Posted April 26, 2013 The other day i decided to pull the carpet up and open the fire to put a grate in there seemed like a good idea at the time as my brothers are builders and make these things look simple well i am a welder and i am wishing i had stuck to that as it is still not done 12 days later due to work and wife is that look every time i am in the room.......hope to get it finished this weekend had to get on roof and un cap chimney i am 19 stone 6ft 3 felt very safe up there,my brother is 5ft 10 and weighs as much as a bit of paper and has cat like reflexes and the skeleton of a bird i think as he scampers up and down roofs for fun but point is all this DIY looks easy its not so as long as your happy who cares 1 Quote Link to post
