FUJI 17,156
Had a wander out this afternoon with the young dogs and my sidekick that is the fecking nuisance Ruby ..took the dogs to a large piece of forestry on the edge of the Lake District .Set off at a steady pace in decent weather, only for the rain to move in then after that sleet ..i walked the forestry to it's highest part about 3/4 the way up the fell then decided id have a go at reaching the top ..holy shit was the last few hundred yards hard graft BUT i made it ..all the while the dogs were chasing each other and toy fighting ..them wee shits are endless i will tell you ..anyways on reaching the top what a view awaited me ..a rainbow was settled below me,not a house, motor or nothing to be seen ..on my way back i put my camera back in my jacket as it was raining heavily and bloody typical a Roe Buck caught my eye skipping across the fell higher up where hundreds of young trees had been planted,he was calling out whilst on his way and i could still hear him a good ten minutes later in a dense part of a much larger forestry block...4 1/2 hours we were out..dogs are all sat quiet ..so happy days...hopefully back out somewhere tomorrow .. 10 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,156
Thanks everyone...I think that'll do with the pics for now haha..pups are 7 month old next week, coming along brilliant..jump grand, recall is A1,brilliant travellers, retrieve fine with dummies etc..I've never seen either slow up when an obstacle confronts them,I think they will be handy enough in and around cover and the feckers seem to have plenty of lung power for pups,I walk them over 40 mile per week and feck knows what they do because they never stop chasing one another and usually up and down Fells lol...so far so good anyways..I'm trying my best and I think they will to and I'll be happy with that whatever standard that may be?...Atb And 4 Quote Link to post
