ned is a mystical creature who has survived through the farming revolution set aside has been its savouir but the brown hare faces a greater threat

and they are scared to say it the wild life trust knows ir the whole of the farming communtity and field sports knows it the game conservancy basc , they all know that the BADGER is wiping out leverets and groud nesting bird out in areas throuout the counrty while all other ground vermin is sencibley controled old bill can roam were ever they want ,

thanks for all your replys everyone need to see more of the hare around. have any of you noticed that the rabbit numbers are getting less? there used to be loads around a couple of years ago but i don't think there are as many around nowadays ?

grass is very important for very good hare numbers. Their hungriest time can be during the late summer as crops ripen and loose their nutrients, at this time of year hares will travel a good distance to feed on decent grass. Grass margins are a great help for Hare conservation.

 

Apart from that, kill foxes.
