Right, you've to live on an island off the coast of Scotland. It's uninhibited, 10 miles circumference, not a tree on it. A mixture of grassland and heather. It's populated by rabbits, hares and deer. You've to survive for a whole year and your only allowed to take one hunting companion, a dog. Which cross would you go for and why? Which type of dog will put the most game on the table? Remember, rabbit, hare and deer.

 

Do you go for a dog that can get all 3, or stick to a smaller rabbit dog. Or maybe you'd prefer a terrier or a lab lol. Yes I'm f*****g bored so humour me

Look at it this way only thing that would have enuf fat or meat or hide too keep u going would be deer and hare and if there is no trees ur going too be f****d with out a shelter so a big dog would be ur best option

Deerhound x not sure what just some thing a nice size but u would be dead with in a few months with no shelter or tools too make shelter any way

I'm changing mine, i would take a saluki, as they can do all 3 quarry species, and don't take alot of feeding the skinny things.

Also, as they are from the desert, they don't need to drink ever.
