HGN 150
Ive got a important question that needs answering..... Is this year book from the popular peoples front of plummer terriers or from the plummer terrier peoples popular front? yes what chance have the genuine lads got who like to do a bit of graft with there plummers. Genuine lads wrote for the book Alli - dogs worked to rat, rabbit, earth and hog should be interesting Doub't there'll be anything new said from the same old mouths so wouldn't hold your breath. Essentially its a new club, no one previously associated with the club is involved with it, it has no politics - the only interest is the dog. 2 Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
I thought I would post this up in case anyone is interested Perhaps later than hoped the first PTCGB yearbook is now available! This 94 page 24 article colour printed yearbook has, as will be usual, concentrated upon working dog tales – home and abroad, earth, rabbit, ratting and hog hunting!! On top of these, we have: • An introduction to the breed • Stories of old dogs to the breed • History by way of Brian Plummer’s son • Articles on breeding (advanced and for the beginner) • An article from the very first chairwoman of the PTA • Another on why not all working bred dogs suit pet homes (and an editorial – is agility such a bad avenue for Plummer ownership??) • KC or not for the Plummer terrier • A suggestion toward unifying the PT registers • Feeding your Plummer the very best • A legal opinion on working dogs It will be a limited run and is costed at £10 posted - for those wanting a copy please contact info@plummerterrier.com for such – you will not be disappointed! Please press the SHARE button to let other Plummer terrier owners, and those potential to the breed, know about this please. Sling me a link over via a email so i can have a look.. Quote Link to post

stormyboy 1,352
I have high hopes for the re-formed version of the PTCGB,I trawl most of the sites in order to keep up to date with who's doing what Plummer wise but I think the website could do with a little more info as to who is involved and in what capacity, then maybe we would know what kind of club we would be getting into bed with, please put a list of the committee up and their titles and then you may get some support from people that are able to take the working side forward. HGN,make sure of the people that you share a committee meeting with or you will find yourself loaded with other lazy member's work,"TOKA" was sold a dream by Welsby after buying a pup,he then had no experience of terrierwork to call upon when the hard questions were asked and found himself totally out of his depth,he had seen 1 fox killed years before watching a local welsh hunt,he thought his intellect would carry him through the tough times but never had either the depth of knowledge needed or the experience to cut the mustard, just be sure of the backing from members you represent and don't get used,WM Dont you know his dog killed a cub above ground wm? I'm sure welsby has taught him all he knows about terrier work-feck all! 2 Quote Link to post
Britishbull24 131
I thought you guys were above slagging people off on an open forum. The Plummer world is small so surely any differences can be dealt with in person. 1 Quote Link to post
