I personally would find a natural fork (Y) in the woods, treat it and use that as a start point. Then you can either make your own board cut ones out of various materials such as hardwoods, multiplex and HDPE plastic. Ive got a couple of hdpe ones and they are great. Made by an auld boy i know.... i like supporting the 'small time guys'. Theres a wide choice out there.... its not so much the catty frame... its the bands that make the difference. Theraband gold flatbands are best... single is easy amd accurate.... doubled is extremely powerful. Hope you enjoy the world of catapults.... youll be hooked soon HDPE... MULTIPLEX...
