Am i missing something :laugh: The idea of rat bait is to kill the fookers not feed them :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

 

Have you seen this weeks Countryman's weekly? There is a suggestion that fat/cornflake mix should be fed to rats for a few weeks out in the open to make them easier to shoot. Try explaining that to the landowner.

Is that before or after whitehead has had time team in to dig a 40 ft trench to bury it in.

I have found with shooting rats dried dog food is best as they can't take it quick like bread. They have to pick it up with there paws and put it in there mouth where as bread and anything else I tried they just grab it and do one which makes it hard to shoot them. As for traps I use marzipan

me and the countrymans weekly have issues :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

I have found with shooting rats dried dog food is best as they can't take it quick like bread. They have to pick it up with there paws and put it in there mouth where as bread and anything else I tried they just grab it and do one which makes it hard to shoot them. As for traps I use marzipan

If you use something like a bowl of chicken mash, they have to eat it in situ.....sitting ducks for an air rifle :-)
