jamesmc 582
if they are eating and drinking on their own..why not mate.... Jamesmc this is wrong the dogs trust says QUOTE "Good breeders will not let a puppy go until he is at least seven weeks old. Some prefer to wait until 12 weeks. They should want to meet and interview you before the puppies are born or a few weeks later. This is a good opportunity for you as well, since you can see the conditions your pup is being raised in." 6 WEEKS IS FINE....SO FCUK OFF AND ANNOY SOMEBODY ELSE... Quote Link to post
BIG G wheton machine 1,594
IMO 6 weeks is fine if the pup isn't going to be stuck in a kennel on its own all the time. Pups need to interact with other pups and dogs around them to develop normal social skills, which is why 8 weeks is usually recommended so they learn some of those skills before they leave their dam and littermates. I would always rear a 6 week old pup in the house to begin with: even sleep with it until it settles in, which is usually very fast as long as the pup doesn't get the chance to feel lonely or left alone. skycat theres noooo need to bring sexual comments into it sleeping with yer dog tut tut Quote Link to post

Casso 1,261
For emotional development the longer a pup is with the bitch and litter mates the better, same as any intelligent mammal humans, monkeys , dogs the building of emotional security is achieved very early in life, Quote Link to post
