I Was asking myself -while I was eating a couple nice pigeon breasts on the grill- Do the airgun hunters eating their quarry too?

rabbits, in the pot, squizzers the same, draw the line at crows and jays (unless the line is the crosshairs lol)

Anything that's eatable gets scoffed by either myself and family, given to friends or eaten by dogs if it's a bit rough.

The only reason I shoot is to eat afterwards or I wouldn't shoot at all, I pest control as a hobby but don't take anything I know won't be out to use, bar infected rabbits which I cut open for the birds

I give my stuff to friends as my wife doesn't like seeing dead things about the house! Particularly rabbits as she has 5 as pets. Bit of a sore point in our house as I'd love to eat it all myself.

Voted for eat myself, but most got to ferrets and dogs, some to folk that I know eat them or have animals to feed

Most of my birds get split between next doors ferrets & Harris hawk.

 

Any birds with a clean head shot go to the Hawk (lob the head off) and the ferrets get the heart/lung shot stuff.

 

Rabbits go in the pot .

I ticked other, couldent tick two. If theres room in the freezer, rabbits and pigeon breast go in there, if theres not, then its bait or given to others that request it. Vermin control is what the farmers expect of me and i cant allways account for the no.s i take, so the foxe's get fed.

Used to sell most of it, but there seems to be a lot of squeamish people out there these days !
