Millet 4,497 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 I have stuck these up elsewhere but i thought i would also stick them on here..they have got to be my favourite bird's at the momment in my aviary... while i was messing about taking picture's they was one of the cheeky little git's walking around my feet on the floor picking dropped seed up.. fireman 10,993 Posted April 23, 2013 Report Share Posted April 23, 2013 The last redpoll i had get out i put one in a cage and hung it in a open safety porch and put a sprig of millet up,long bit of string to the back gate and jobs a good un,got it in 10 mins ,if your hen was with a cock she might still be hanging about mate and if so you have a chance of getting her back. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

I had half a dozen or more feeding within about eight foot of me the other day. Wild as the wind. But trusting as babies. I wonder what makes some birds seemingly generically disposed this way? Yes.
