redial 81
That's cleared that up then. It's just that duck's dont appear too often on a airgunner's quarry list. Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
That's cleared that up then. It's just that duck's dont appear too often on a airgunner's quarry list. Depends how hungry the airgunner is...and how lucky. Quote Link to post

hunter100t 56
The americans think shooting a 2 inch circle at 30 yrds is ok, what is yours like ? If it puts all of its pellets inside a 10 pence coin at 35 yrds, then it should be ok to hunt with up to that range. atb phil Edited April 24, 2013 by hunter100t Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Owt head able pal don't shoot em for fun I don't quite follow that. What do you mean? Quote Link to post
nathan10 4
I only kill what am going to eat unless my permission wants me to go shoot the pests Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I would not recommend the dual calibre air rifle for one basic reason, a .177 requires more air so the same mechanism won't do both at full power without a spring change! You are better off sticking to either a .177 or a .22, either will kill pests, just don't go down the dual calibre Beeman, not worth it! Edited April 25, 2013 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
nathan10 4
Already bought it pal n tbh it sounds right the booklet says it wil fire 22 at 11.5 n 177 at 8.9 think a need some better scopes for it Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
See? The small calibre needs a lot more air than the larger calibre! Hence the 2.5 ft lb going for a burton! I would leave it at .22 unless you are doing some feral work in a barn! Quote Link to post
fitchet 788
That's cleared that up then. It's just that duck's dont appear too often on a airgunner's quarry list. I have shot hundreds of duck and dozens of geese with air rifles. If you know what your doing there's no trouble. Quote Link to post
redial 81
I wouldn't know what Iam doing with duck's / geese please educate me. Thank's. Quote Link to post
