Karl Daw 14
Guys what do you think of the Custom bearing washers that you put between the piston and the spring if all done properly do you think they would make any difference please? and would nylon washers work ? Quote Link to post
Taz-n-Lily 62
Teflon probably would. I'm sure someone did some work on this subject on the B B S some time ago, and he tried rroller-bearing washers, which made very little difference. Polishing the spring-ends and a bit of light lube works well in my TX - I don'e have any washers in there. Quote Link to post
hunter100t 56
You could put delrin rings at the back of the spring, this aid's smooth release of spring and potentially preserve the spring. custom kits use them, also a delrin spring guide. atb phil Quote Link to post
Marksman 934
bearings arent made to withstand shock factors like that of the thump of a spring piston rifle, why do you think companies havent undertaken the idea. All youre asking for is trouble. Polishing the spring ends to a mirror finish will partially help but theres a lot more goes into a rifle to tune it. Best idea is to stick with whats there and work with it mate Darryl Quote Link to post
