Hob&Jill 258
Unfortunatly my fire has been well and truely pissed on Unless this foot and mouth turns out to be something or nothing (which is doubtful) then Im hardly likely to get much done this year Been feeling sorry for myself all day lol Quote Link to post
gibby 0
Got 3 more ferrets to work as well as my experienced workers. Got the week off work next week so Im going to build a bigger carry box. Got a new mk3 locator and just sold my mk1. Going to buy some more nets and apply for my shotgun cert (I know Ive left it a little late to apply but Ive been very short of cash!). All in all was getting ready for a cracking season, total (even more than last year) dedication to rabbit extermination. And now foot and mouth has the possibility of f*****g things up And as if that wasnt bad enough I noticed mixi on 3 of my permissions a couple of weeks ago Its seriously depressing! ferretville 69
Hope this foot and mouth does`nt spread which it probably will or we can kiss the season good bye. Feel sorry for those whose lively hood the countryside is there just recovering from the last outbreak. Fingers x anyway 007ferret Quote Link to post
mooster 1
Best of luck to those affected.(more problems just been reported on tv this evening). Back to the original September starting......I remember reading an article in the spring where a gardener at cew gardens pointed out that everything had bloomed about 1 month earlier then usual. Down here in Devon blackberries are plentiful (usually September) and the swifts have all gone back to Africa today from my part of town. Does all this mean the bunnies will be ready for harvesting a month early??? If so i'll come back from holiday early! Just a thought. Quote Link to post
