Local Shoots, Halifax Area

Hi,

 

Does anyone have any info on shoots local to Halifax area, i have two well trained spaniels and i'm looking for some beating next season, anything from formal to small informal shoots. Payment although welcome is not as important as the enjoyment. I am currently travelling to to S.Yorks twice a week for my beating and just looking for something closer.

i once passed your number to a keeper in hx and he had a que of people wanting to beat, thats the only shoot i know of unless you try heptonstall (hebden bridge)

Yeh mate I remember you doing that for me, I have had loads of offers already for next season but all in S.Yorks area, some really good formal shoots as well as small DIY ones. I'm just trying to cut down on the mileage as , anywhere this side of W.Yorks would be good.
