I just tested it on a combro and it come up with 10.51 ftlbs and 570ft is that about right for a new .22 unregulated scorpion? don't worry!! I did put in 14.3g for the accupells I was using, did it at 190bar & 150b. Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
id be more than happy with that. at least you know it wont go over the limit. Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
Try a heavier pellet like a AA Field...may give you a higher reading. They're set low on purpose as they can rise Quote Link to post
reaper1064 285
BSA purposely keep their new rifles low, as over their break in time the power increases as the parts wear in. That's why you'll find a lot of HW's run hot after a time as the grease and parts settle in. Try and chrono it again after a few tins of pellets have been through it. Accuracy means more than power anyway. Quote Link to post
barrywhite 282
try it at 130 bar..my unregulated pcps shoot at about 140 130 bar is the top of power curve . Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
My Super 10 started out at 10.5 fpe, now doing 11.3! Don't worry! Quote Link to post
villaman 9,983
IT should bed in but try a heavy pellet like a jsb 16gr , aa field 16gr ,rws superfield 15.9 or H&N Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
I would be happy if every air rifle I ever owned levelled out at that power dude! Perfect! At least if it ever gets power tested with a variety of pellets it will stay within the law! 1 Quote Link to post
(g80na1886) 1
Ok fellas I was just thinking maybe I got sold a dodgy one or something lol would getting it regged make it more powerfull? I'd be chuffed if I got 11ftlbs Min outta it tbh, I will Definately try the heavier pellets too so cheers for that!! Edited April 19, 2013 by (g80na1886) Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
1000 AA Fields will probably give you that ;-) Quote Link to post
Mawders 595
And at the end of it you will notice no difference what so ever! Quote Link to post
ghillies 209
i wouldnt worry about it being 10.5 till you try it out, it'll depend on the pellet wether its hot on or lacking distance.. i used 10.5 in .177 for a season with no problems at all out to 55 yards.. Quote Link to post
AirgunGuy 362
My Superten runs at just under 11FPE with no problems at all. .5 FPE will make very little difference down range Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
i know its a springer, and there different to pcps, but my 97kt is doing jsb exact .. 11.4-11.5 daystate Li .. 10.4-11.05 h&n FTT 11.1 - 11.8 bisley magnum 10.2 - 10.5 even 1 fps can be upto .04 of a ft lb depending on pellet used. e.g. jsb exact 8.44gr ........ 782 fps = 11.40 ftlb , ....... , 783 fps = 11.44 ftlb consistency is important at keeping your rifle legal... as you can see above mines quite allover the shop with the h&n and Li's so its doing nearly a full 1 ftlb difference shot to shot Quote Link to post
