I think I can say I've had the pleasure of two great dogs a little pure grey misty that actually wasn't mine but my dads only problem is she dint last more then 2 seasons would of been a world beater the dog would stop on nothing and rarely missed any thing but that ended up being her demise as a running dog bye broken leg and never came back the same and one that I have now that is well not in the same league as misty but is showing great promise only problem is I think the same thing is going too happen too him too full on and has no stop bottom when it comes too trees fences dykes the type where nothing can get in he's way when he has seen it even if he has lost sight of it will not stop him he will be the type too break he's neck on something he has bounced of fences and hit 3 tress at reckless speeds some could say they would not be great dogs cos one f****d its leg and the other is bouncing of things but the fact is he is still getting back up and catching he's prey I can't say he will live too a good long old age but he never stops giving me 110 % so Iam happy plus never had too go too the vets with him yet touch wood

Sadly my best dog ive ever owned got pts recently of old age. I had her since 9 weeks old and i use to spend hours a day training her. her retrieving was good, marking sets, and deffo her recall. she was the most obedient dogs ive ever had. She was an inside dog and at night i used to let her into the garden i went to let her back in and she jumped a 6 foot fence.! but i think she got onto the ferret hutch and then over the fence. I would take her out lamping sunday and thursday night and then on huge hikes in the day. She was the rabbit destroyer she was spot on. She had a few haires back in 2002 And always used to get the rabbits. One of the best dogs I will Own And Ever Own. Thats her in my pic ( beddlinghton whippet x greyhound)

My last lurcher was mainly a pet and for many reasons stayed with my parents but took a few rabbs while out with me. Collie grey that was a brainy bugger, some of the injurys she had limited her and me doing more but wow she surprisede me. Also great guard dog for my parents while i was away at work at nights.
